We cannot provide great care without great people.
We’ve found that some candidates interested in working for our health system have been unable to join us because of limited housing and childcare in our region. In response, we are working with our communities to invest in new housing and childcare opportunities for our staff.
Supporting our people:
Chittenden County, Vermont
housing units for our employees in two complexes, one of which will include a childcare center, in South Burlington, Vermont.
of the units are reserved for employees qualified to receive subsidized rent.
children will be served by our new childcare center for employees, focusing on infants to pre-K and launching in fall of 2024.
Central Vermont
A new subdivision is being explored in partnership with Barre Area Development and would include dedicated units for hospital staff.
